Heirborn Servants seeks to improve every aspect of life by providing women in need with transportation, mentorship, and bonding ties within their local communities. Our approach gives survivors of human trafficking, survivors of domestic violence, and single moms the support they need on every level to empower them to make lasting changes in their lives and the lives of their families. We want to help single moms and survivors find not only stability, but also passion and purpose.
- Transportation: We give women a way out of their current situation by giving them the means to move forward. We work through individual car donations, rideshare services, key partnerships with local dealerships, and financial donations to give single moms and survivors reliable transportation to get to work, school, doctor’s appointments, and all that life demands.
- Transformation: We have a team of mentors—many of whom are survivors themselves—who come alongside the women in our ministry to provide emotional support, spiritual guidance, and friendship. We also offer small group discussions and outreach events to facilitate deeper relationships with God and fellowship within church communities.
- Community Ties: We’re passionate about investing in our local community. That means helping others share their gifts by building lasting ties with community and corporate partners who want to contribute to our mission by providing the means to help the women we serve get back on their feet.
Our goal is to become a self-sustaining ministry, allowing recovered women to rescue and restore those still facing difficult or dangerous situations.
The Story Behind the Mission
The seeds of Heirborn Servants were planted in our founder’s childhood. After his father abandoned the family, Jon and his siblings were raised by a single mother who struggled to support her family. When a family member gifted her with an old vehicle, Jon saw hope take root. The ability to drive her kids to school, get to work reliably, and conveniently accomplish daily tasks like grocery shopping and visits to the doctor made a real and lasting impact on the lives of their family.
Although Jon’s unstable childhood led to anger and acting out—including several brushes with the law—a relationship with Jesus reversed the course of his life, guiding him into roles serving as a pastor at 12 Stone Church and as a Gwinnett Police Chaplain.
But God wasn’t done with Jon yet.
With the urging of God and the encouragement of his wife, Lesley, Jon launched Heirborn Servants in 2016. Since then, Jon has lived out its mission daily by engaging with local church communities, partnering with local charity organizations, and interceding—both in prayer and in action—on behalf of those facing seemingly hopeless situations.
Jon invites you to prayerfully consider becoming part of something bigger than yourself: Heirborn Servants.
